Product Specific Information
For maximum recovery, please spin prior to use.
Aliquots of 5 µg, 10 µg, and 20 µg sizes are not recommended; use original packaging until exhausted.
For larger sizes, aliquoting is recommended to minimize freeze/thaw cycles (aliquots below 20 µL not recommended).
Do not store kinase in a diluted form.
Properly stored at -80°C, the product is guaranteed for 6 months from the date of purchase.

Target Information
AMPK (A1/B1/G2) is a heterotrimeric protein complex consisting of an alpha catalytic subunit and non-catalytic beta and gamma subunits.
AMPKs are energy-sensing enzymes that monitor cellular energy status, especially under stress conditions.
They regulate fatty acid and cholesterol synthesis by controlling key rate-limiting enzymes such as acetyl-CoA carboxylase and HMG-CoA reductase.
The beta subunit may act as a positive regulator of AMPK activity and is highly expressed in skeletal muscle.
