Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
PRMT2 (Protein Arginine Methyltransferase 2) is an arginine methyltransferase that methylates guanidino nitrogens of arginyl residues in proteins such as STAT3, FBL, and histone H4.
It acts as a coactivator with NCOA2 for androgen receptor (AR)-mediated transactivation and with estrogen for estrogen receptor (ER)-mediated transactivation.
Enhances PGR, PPARG, and RARA-mediated transactivation, may inhibit NF-kappa-B transcription, promote apoptosis, repress E2F1 transcriptional activity (RB1-dependent), and may be involved in growth regulation.
