Target Information
이 유전자가 암호화하는 단백질은 protein tyrosine phosphatase(PTP) 계열에 속하며, 세포 성장, 분화, 유사분열 주기 및 종양 형성과 같은 다양한 세포 과정의 조절에 관여하는 신호 분자입니다.
이 유전자는 여러 조혈세포에서 우선적으로 발현되며, 림포카인 자극 세포에서 초기 반응 유전자로 작용합니다.
비촉매성 N-말단은 MAP kinase와 상호작용하여 MAP kinase 활성을 억제할 수 있습니다.
또한 T 세포 항원 수용체 신호 조절에 관여하며, MAP kinase 경로 관련 분자의 탈인산화를 통해 기능하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
두 가지 상이한 isoform을 암호화하는 대체 스플라이싱 전사 변이체가 보고되었습니다.
