DHX36(DEAH box protein 36)은 MLE-like protein 1 또는 RHAU(RNA helicase associated with AU-rich element)로도 알려져 있으며, DEAH 패밀리의 RNA helicase에 속합니다.
이 단백질은 성 발달 및 정자 형성에 관여할 수 있으며, 고환에서 발현되고 대부분의 동물 종에서 보존되어 있습니다.
DHX36은 3’-UTR에 ARE 서열을 포함하는 mRNA의 분해 및 deadenylation에 관여하며, 초기 배아 발생에 필수적입니다.
