Target Information
PSA (Prostate-Specific Antigen)는 전립선 상피에서 생성되는 키모트립신 유사 세린 프로테아제로, 정액 내에 풍부하게 존재합니다. PSA는 전립선암 환자의 혈청에서 검출되며, 주로 간 유래 세린 프로테아제 억제제인 alpha-1-antichymotrypsin(ACT)과 복합체를 형성합니다. 전립선암에서는 양성 전립선 비대증보다 ACT와의 복합체 비율이 높습니다. PSA는 원발성 및 전이성 암에서 전립선 선방세포 기원의 확인 및 비전립선성 암과의 감별에 사용됩니다.
