Target Information
LAG-3는 Ig superfamily에 속하는 70-kDa 표면 당단백질로 CD4와 상동성을 지닙니다. LAG-3는 CD4보다 높은 친화도로 MHC class II에 결합하며, T 세포 활성화 및 항상성 증식의 음성 조절에 관여하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 활성화된 T 세포(조절 T 세포 포함)와 NK 세포에서 표면 발현이 보고되었으며, CD8+ T 세포는 CD4+ T 세포보다 LAG-3를 더 높은 수준으로 발현합니다. 또한 LAG-3와 CD49b의 공동 발현은 사람 및 마우스 Type 1 조절 T 세포(Tr1 세포)를 구별하는 표지자로 제안되었습니다.
