Product Specific Information
The O323 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD27, a lymphocyte-specific member of the TNFR superfamily. CD27 is expressed by a subset of thymocytes and virtually all mature T cells and is upregulated upon T-cell stimulation. CD27 binds to CD70, playing a key role in T cell–B cell interactions.
Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
Applications Tested: Pre-diluted and validated for flow cytometry using human peripheral blood cells at 5 µL (0.25 µg)/test.
Brilliant Violet™ 605 (BV605) emits at 605 nm and is intended for use on violet (405 nm) laser-equipped cytometers. Use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401-42) or Brilliant Stain Buffer™ (Product # 00-4409-75) to minimize non-specific polymer interactions.
Light Sensitivity: Protect from light.
Fixation: Compatible with IC Fixation Buffer (Product # 00-8222-49) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product # 00-5333-54). Not compatible with methanol-based fixation.

Target Information
CD27 is a 50 kDa member of the TNF receptor superfamily, involved in regulation of lymphocyte proliferation and apoptosis. It is expressed as a disulfide-linked homodimer on mature thymocytes, peripheral T cells, and a subpopulation of B cells. Soluble CD27 (sCD27) serves as a prognostic marker for B cell malignancies. CD27 interacts with CD70 and SIVA, mediating T-cell activation and apoptosis. Dysfunctions are associated with Lymphoproliferative Syndrome 2 and Autosomal Recessive Lymphoproliferative Syndrome.
