Lyn proto oncogene (Lcl/Yes related novel protein tyrosine kinase)는 인간의 8번 염색체에 위치한 Lyn 유전자에 의해 인코딩되며, Src 패밀리 키나아제에 속하는 비수용체성 티로신 키나아제입니다.
이 단백질은 세포 신호 전달에서 매개체로 작용하며, 주로 조혈세포(lymphoid 및 myeloid 세포)에서 발현되고 T 림프구에서는 발현이 배제됩니다.
또한 Lyn은 B세포 수용체 신호전달, 비만세포 신호전달, 상피-간엽 전이(EMT) 조절 등 다양한 생물학적 과정에 관여하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
