For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

CD20 is a non-glycosylated surface phosphoprotein (33–37 kDa) expressed on mature and most malignant B cells, a subset of T lymphocytes, and follicular dendritic cells.
It regulates transmembrane calcium conductance, cell cycle progression, and B-cell proliferation.
CD20 is associated with lipid rafts, and its distribution changes upon extracellular stimulation and BCR aggregation.
Following receptor ligation, CD20 remains on the cell surface while BCR undergoes endocytosis.
Because of its stable surface expression, CD20 is an effective target for antibody-mediated B-cell depletion in malignancies.
Mutations or dysfunction in CD20 (MS4A1) are linked to common variable immune deficiency.
