Target Information
MCL1 (Myeloid cell leukemia-1)은 Bcl-2 패밀리에 속하며 세포 생존 유지 및 분화에 관여합니다.
Isoform 1은 세포사멸(apoptosis)을 억제하고, Isoform 2는 촉진합니다.
MCL1은 DNA 손상 요인(방사선, 자외선, 알킬화제 등)에 노출된 ML-1 세포에서 발현이 증가하며, GADD45 및 Bax 증가, bcl-2 감소와 연관됩니다.
MCL1은 미토콘드리아에 주로 존재하며 세포 생존을 촉진합니다.
Bcl-2 패밀리의 친사멸 단백질(Bim, Bak 등)과 상호작용하여 세포사멸을 억제하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
MCL1은 배아 발생, B/T 림프구 발달 및 유지에 필수적이며, 최소 두 가지 isoform (MCL1L, MCL1S)이 존재합니다.
MCL1S의 과발현은 세포사멸을 유도합니다.
