Target Information
MICAL3는 F-actin의 특정 메싸이오닌 잔기를 산화시켜 메싸이오닌-설폭사이드로 전환함으로써 액틴 필라멘트의 해중합을 유도하는 모노옥시게나아제입니다.
또한 actin이 없는 상태에서는 NADPH oxidase로 작용하여 H₂O₂를 생성합니다.
Rab effector 단백질로서 소포 수송 및 세포질 분열(cytokinesis)에 관여하며, Rab8 및 ERC1 단백질의 세포간 교량(intercellular bridge) 안정화 및 절단(abscission) 과정에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
