For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

RGS13 is the smallest member of the mammalian RGS (Regulators of G protein-signaling) family, structurally and functionally homologous to yeast SST2 and C. elegans egl-10 proteins.
RGS proteins act as GTPase-activating proteins (GAPs) for Ga subunits, attenuating G protein-mediated pathways.
RGS13 is most abundant in human tonsil, thymus, lung, lymph node, and spleen. It regulates Gai, Gaq, and Gas coupled signaling cascades and blocks MAPK activity induced by Gai- or Gaq-coupled receptors.
The gene encoding human RGS13 is localized on chromosome 1q31.2.
