For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

KLRB1 (CD161) is a type II membrane protein expressed on nearly all NK cells and a subset of CD3⁺ T cells.
It forms a homodimeric cell surface structure (40–44 kDa) and plays an inhibitory role in NK cell activity.
Activation of KLRB1 stimulates acid sphingomyelinase/SMPD1, increases intracellular ceramide, and activates AKT1/PKB and RPS6KA1/RSK1 kinases.
KLRB1 acts as a lectin binding to Gal-α(1,3)Gal and N-acetyllactosamine epitopes, and interacts with CLEC2D/LLT1 to inhibit NK cell cytotoxicity and IFN-γ secretion.
The protein includes extracellular C-type lectin motifs, a transmembrane domain, and a cytoplasmic domain.
