Target Information
TRIP6 is a member of the zyxin family and encodes a protein containing three LIM zinc-binding domains.
This protein localizes to focal adhesion sites and along actin stress fibers.
Recruitment to the plasma membrane occurs in an LPA-dependent manner, regulating LPA-induced cell migration.
Alternative splicing variants encoding different isoforms have been described but not all are fully characterized.
