Product Specific Information
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned, and individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.
These recombinant antibodies offer several advantages:
- 높은 특이성과 민감도
- 로트 간 일관성
- 동물 유래 성분이 없는 제형
- 다양한 타깃에 대한 넓은 면역반응성
Target Information
CD36, also known as scavenger receptor class B member 3, is a membrane protein expressed on macrophages, platelets, and adipocytes.
It plays key roles in:
- Lipid metabolism, inflammation, and atherosclerosis
- Recognition and uptake of oxidized LDL, long-chain fatty acids, and apoptotic cells
- Pathogenesis of malaria through receptor-mediated cytoadherence of Plasmodium falciparum–infected erythrocytes
Mutations in the CD36 gene can cause platelet glycoprotein deficiency. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants exist.
Diseases associated with CD36 include Platelet Glycoprotein IV Deficiency and Coronary Heart Disease 7.
For Research Use Only.
Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
