Product Specific Information
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems clone specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits, followed by screening to select the best candidates for production.
Advantages include:
- Enhanced specificity and sensitivity
- Lot-to-lot consistency
- Animal origin-free formulation
- Broad immunoreactivity due to the rabbit immune repertoire
Target Information
The ATF1 gene encodes an activating transcription factor belonging to the ATF subfamily and bZIP family. It regulates expression of downstream genes related to cellular growth, survival, and other functions.
Phosphorylation at serine 63 by various kinases enhances transactivation and transcriptional activity, contributing to cell transformation.
Chromosomal translocations involving ATF1 and FUS (chromosome 16) or EWSR1 (chromosome 22) generate chimeric proteins observed in angiomatoid fibrous histiocytoma and clear cell sarcoma.
A pseudogene exists on chromosome 6.
For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
