Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs, no cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse IL‑17R, IL‑17BR, or recombinant human IL‑17BR is observed.
- In Western blots, no cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse IL‑17R is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.5 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
- Endotoxin level: <0.10 EU per 1 µg antibody (LAL method).
Target Information
Interleukin 17A (IL-17A) is a proinflammatory cytokine secreted by activated T-lymphocytes. It induces maturation of CD34-positive hematopoietic precursors into neutrophils.
IL-17RA is a type I membrane glycoprotein binding IL-17A and IL-17F with low affinity. IL-17A and its receptor are implicated in inflammatory and autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis.
Defects in IL-17RA cause familial candidiasis type 5 (CANDF5), characterized by altered immune responses and impaired fungal clearance.
