Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Human thyroglobulin (hTg) is a high molecular weight glycoprotein (605 kDa) found in thyroid follicular cells. It plays a key role in the uptake, incorporation, and biosynthesis of thyroid hormones T4 and T3.
Anti-thyroglobulin antibodies are associated with autoimmune thyroid diseases such as Hashimoto thyroiditis and Graves disease, and are also found in thyroid cancer. Measurement of anti-hTG levels can assist in monitoring thyroid cancer patients.
