PA1-4241 detects Artemis from human samples and has been successfully used in Western blot applications.
By Western blot, this antibody detects a ~66 kDa protein representing Artemis in human testis lysate.
A weak signal may be observed due to low expression levels.

The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues G(677)ESIAVKKRKCSLLDT(692) of the human Artemis protein.
Maintain at 4°C for up to 3 months or at -20°C for longer periods. Stable for 1 year. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Target Information

The protein encoded by this gene acts as a receptor for aryl hydrocarbons and functions as a ligand-activated transcription factor.
It is found in the cytoplasm as part of a multiprotein complex and translocates to the nucleus upon ligand binding.
This protein regulates the expression of various xenobiotic metabolizing enzymes and can bind to and inhibit hepatitis B virus activity.
