Cytokeratin pan은 중간 필라멘트 단백질의 하위군으로, 인간 상피 조직에서 최소 20종의 다양한 폴리펩타이드로 구성되어 있습니다. 분자량은 40~68 kDa, 등전점은 pH 4.9~7.8 범위에 있습니다. 각 상피 유형과 분화 단계에 따라 특유의 cytokeratin subtype을 발현하며, 이러한 패턴은 상피성 종양의 구분 및 감별 진단에 유용합니다.
Cytokeratin 항체는 면역조직화학적 진단뿐 아니라 세포병리학 및 유세포분석에서도 활용되며, 암 연구 및 종양 진단에 중요한 마커로 사용됩니다.
