Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human IL-15. Anti-Human IL-15-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and subsequently biotinylated.

Sandwich ELISA:
For detection of hIL-15 by sandwich ELISA (100 µL/well antibody solution), use 0.25–1.0 µg/mL of this antibody. In conjunction with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Human IL-15 (500-P15) as a capture antibody, detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of Recombinant hIL-15 is possible.

Western Blot:
For hIL-15 detection by Western Blot, use 0.1–0.2 µg/mL. When combined with compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for Recombinant hIL-15 is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under reducing or non-reducing conditions.

IL-15 (Interleukin 15) is a cytokine regulating T and natural killer cell activation and proliferation. IL-15 and IL-2 share common receptor subunits and may compete for binding, influencing CD8+ memory cell balance.
IL-15 activates JAK kinases and STAT3, STAT5, STAT6 transcription factors, promoting survival and differentiation of T, B, NK cells, macrophages, and monocytes.
It plays key roles in immune responses, inflammation, and autoimmune pathogenesis, and is implicated in diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, and pulmonary inflammation.
Neutralization of IL-15 shows potential therapeutic benefits in inflammatory and autoimmune conditions.
