Product Specific Information
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems are developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits, followed by screening individual clones to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information
TLR2 is a member of the Toll-like receptor (TLR) family, playing a key role in pathogen recognition and activation of innate immunity.
TLR2 forms heterodimers with TLR1 or TLR6 to recognize bacterial and mycoplasma lipoproteins. It activates kinases and transcription factors such as PKCα/β and NF-κB via adaptor molecules MyD88 and TIRAP.
TLR2 is most abundantly expressed in peripheral blood leukocytes and mediates host responses to Gram-positive bacteria and yeast.
Expression is highest in CD14+ monocytes, followed by CD15+ granulocytes, CD19+ B-cells, and CD3+ T-cells.
Regulation varies by immune modifiers: LPS, GM-CSF, IL-1, and IL-10 upregulate TLR2, while IL-4, IFN-γ, and TNF downregulate its expression in monocytes.
