Target Information
RALBP1 specifically activates hydrolysis of GTP bound to RAC1 and CDC42, but not RALA. It mediates ATP-dependent transport of S-(2,4-dinitrophenyl)-glutathione (DNP-SG) and doxorubicin (DOX), serving as a major ATP-dependent transporter of glutathione conjugates and xenobiotics in erythrocytes. It contributes to multidrug resistance and functions as a scaffold protein linking endocytotic complexes during interphase and with CDC2 to regulate endocytosis. One of its substrates is EPN1/Epsin.
