Product Specific Information
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information
ATF7 plays important roles in early cell signaling and binds the cAMP response element (CRE) sequence (consensus: 5'-GTGACGT[AG][AG]-3') found in many viral and cellular promoters. It activates the NF-ELAM1/delta-A site of the E-selectin promoter and lacks intrinsic transcriptional activity but activates transcription upon forming heterodimers with JUN or FOS.
Isoform 4 (ATF-A0) acts as a dominant repressor of the E-selectin/NF-ELAM1/delta-A promoter, while Isoform 5 (ATF-4) negatively regulates ATF2 and ATF7 transcriptional activities by sequestering the Thr-53 phosphorylating kinase in the cytoplasm.
