Target Information
The Ku protein complex (p70/p80) functions as the DNA-binding component of DNA-dependent protein kinase. It plays a critical role in DNA double-strand break repair via non-homologous end joining and in V(D)J recombination. Mutations in this gene are associated with defects in DNA repair and variable radiosensitivity.
