Target Information
TTLL12 (Tubulin Tyrosine Ligase-Like Family, Member 12) is a 644 amino acid protein containing one TTL domain. Among the fourteen TTLL family members that modify tubulin, TTLL12 is the least characterized. It is highly expressed in multiple metastatic prostate cancer cell lines and is considered a potential target for tumor therapy. Overexpression of TTLL12 may alter chromosome ploidy, while downregulation affects several post-translational modifications of tubulin.
