Product Specific Information
This antibody detects recombinant human LHX5 in direct ELISAs and Western blots. In direct ELISAs, approximately 20% cross-reactivity with recombinant human LIM1 is observed, and less than 5% cross-reactivity with rhLHX2 and rhLHX9 is observed.
Reconstitute in sterile PBS to a final concentration of 0.2 mg/mL.
Target Information
This gene encodes a protein belonging to a large family carrying the LIM domain, a cysteine-rich zinc-binding domain. The encoded protein may act as a transcriptional regulator involved in forebrain differentiation and development. In mice, it regulates precursor cell proliferation and neuronal differentiation and migration during hippocampal development, and is associated with learning and motor functions in adults.
