Target Information
Huntingtin disease는 신경퇴행성 질환으로, huntingtin 단백질의 다형성 글루타민 반복 구간 확장에 의해 발생합니다. Huntingtin Interacting Protein 1 (HIP-1)은 세포자멸사 관련 적응 단백질로, Huntingtin 질환의 병태생리에 관여할 수 있습니다. 또한 clathrin coat을 지질막으로 유도하는 역할을 하며, 전암 및 암세포의 생존을 돕는 종양형성 과정에도 관여할 수 있습니다. HIP-1 발현은 전립선 및 대장암 전이와 유의하게 관련되어 있어, 이들 암의 예후 인자로 활용될 수 있습니다.
