Antibody detects endogenous levels of EPHA3 only when phosphorylated at Tyr779.
Target Information
EPHA3 belongs to the ephrin receptor subfamily of the protein tyrosine kinase family. EPH and EPH-related receptors are involved in developmental processes, particularly in the nervous system. EPHA3 encodes a protein that binds ephrin-A ligands. Receptors in the EPH subfamily typically have a single kinase domain and an extracellular region containing a cysteine-rich domain and two fibronectin type III repeats. Ephrin receptors are divided into two groups based on extracellular domain sequence similarity and ligand-binding affinities. EPHA3 binds ephrin-A ligands.
