IFITM1 (Interferon Inducible Transmembrane Protein 1)은 IFN 유도성 막단백질 패밀리에 속하며, 인터페론 감마에 의해 유도되는 항증식 작용의 주요 매개체입니다. 세포 성장 조절에 관여하며, 여러 종양 유형에서 발현이 증가되어 종양 바이오마커로서 유용할 수 있습니다.
마우스 IFITM1 및 IFITM3는 발생 단계에 따라 원시 생식세포의 세포 표면에서 발현되며, IFITM1 활성은 원시 생식세포 이동에 필수적입니다. 또한 IFITM1은 IFITM1을 발현하지 않는 원시 생식세포를 중배엽에서 내배엽으로 밀어내는 반발성 분자로 작용합니다.
