They combine multiple recombinant monoclonal antibodies, providing both the sensitivity of polyclonal antibodies and the specificity of monoclonal antibodies, with the consistency of recombinant production.
These antibodies recognize multiple epitope sites on the target, offering higher detection sensitivity for low-abundance targets. Each lot contains a defined mixture of light and heavy chains, eliminating biological variability seen in traditional polyclonal antibody production.

Target Information
Histone deacetylase 4 (HDAC4) is responsible for deacetylating lysine residues on the N-terminal part of core histones (H2A, H2B, H3, and H4). This process contributes to epigenetic repression and plays an important role in transcriptional regulation, cell cycle progression, and development.
HDAC4 participates in muscle maturation through interactions with MEF2A, MEF2C, and MEF2D, and in MTA1-mediated epigenetic regulation of ESR1 expression in breast cancer.
Mutations in the HDAC4 gene are associated with Brachydactyly-mental retardation syndrome (BDMR).
