The monoclonal antibody OX110 recognizes mouse CD200R (OX2).
CD200R is an inhibitory receptor structurally similar to its ligand CD200 but lacks a classical ITIM domain. Instead, its cytoplasmic domain contains a phosphotyrosine binding motif (NPXY) that interacts with SHIP to inhibit ERK, JNK, and MAPK p38 signaling pathways, leading to suppression of TNF-α secretion in activated macrophages.

Expression: Restricted to hematopoietic cells including myeloid cells (monocytes, macrophages, DCs, neutrophils, mast cells, basophils), subsets of lymphocytes, Langerhans cells, and dendritic epidermal T cells.

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Tested on mouse thioglycolate-elicited peritoneal cells. Recommended ≤0.25 µg/test (100 µL final volume). Cell count range: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test. Optimize antibody titration per assay.

Target Information

CD200R (OX2R) is a receptor for the OX-2 membrane glycoprotein. Both receptor and ligand are cell surface glycoproteins with two immunoglobulin-like domains.
Expression is restricted to myeloid lineage cells (monocytes, neutrophils, T lymphocytes, mast cells).
CD200R–CD200 interaction functions as a myeloid downregulatory signal.
Alternative splicing produces multiple transcript variants.
Associated diseases include primary hypertrophic osteoarthropathy.
