Product Specific Information

The MQ1-17H12 antibody reacts with human interleukin-2 (IL-2), a 17 kDa T-cell growth factor and major immunoregulatory cytokine. This antibody is non-neutralizing.

• Applications Reported: Intracellular staining followed by flow cytometric analysis.
• Applications Tested: Pre-titrated and tested by intracellular staining and flow cytometric analysis of stimulated normal human peripheral blood cells.
  • Recommended use: 5 µL (0.5 µg) per test
  • A test = antibody amount for 100 µL final volume
  • Cell number: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test (empirically determined)

Disruption of IL-2-like genes in mice induces colitis-like symptoms, underscoring its essential role in immune regulation.
