Target Information
CD15 (Lewis X, Le(x); stage specific embryonic antigen-1, SSEA-1)는 삼당류 결정체(3-fucosyl-N-acetyllactosamine)로, 다양한 세포 유형의 glycolipid, glycoprotein 및 proteoglycan에 발현됩니다. 예를 들어, granulocytes, mast cells, monocytes, macrophages, 위점막 세포, 신경계 및 다양한 종양 세포에서 발견됩니다.
Lewis x에는 sialyl-Lewis x 또는 sulphated Lewis x 등의 변형이 존재합니다. Le(x) 항원이 고도로 발현된 세포는 칼슘 의존적 Le(x)-Le(x) 상호작용에 기반한 강한 자기 응집성을 나타내며, 이는 배아 압축이나 teratocarcinoma 세포의 자동 응집 과정에 관여합니다.
Sialyl-Le(x) 및 그 이성질체 sialyl-Le(a)는 selectin의 리간드로 작용합니다. CD15 발현은 Hodgkin 병 진단 확인에 널리 사용되어 왔습니다.
