Target Information
Human CD62L (L-Selectin) is a 74–95 kDa glycoprotein and a member of the selectin family of adhesion receptors. It includes:
- Aminoterminal C-type lectin binding domain
- Epidermal growth factor-like domain
- Two short consensus repeat (SCR) sequences homologous to complement binding proteins
- Short spacer region, transmembrane region, and cytoplasmic region
CD62L is constitutively expressed on leukocytes including lymphocytes (except a substantial population of memory T cells), monocytes, and polymorphonuclear cells.
