Target Information
SF3b145/SAP145는 스플라이싱 인자 SF3B 복합체의 서브유닛으로, pre-mRNA의 branchpoint sequence(BPS)에 U2 snRNP가 안정적으로 결합하여 A 복합체를 형성하는 데 필요합니다.
SF3A/SF3B 복합체의 branch site 상류 부위에 대한 서열 비의존적 결합은 U2 snRNP를 pre-mRNA에 고정시키는 데 필수적입니다. 또한 E 복합체의 형성에도 관여할 수 있습니다.
이 단백질은 드물게 존재하는 핵 내 pre-mRNA 인트론의 스플라이싱에 관여하는 minor U12-dependent spliceosome의 구성요소이기도 합니다.
