For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

CD10 (Common Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia Antigen, CALLA) is a cell surface enzyme with neutral metalloendopeptidase activity that inactivates various biologically active peptides.
CD10 is expressed on lymphoblastic, Burkitt’s, and follicular germinal center lymphomas, immature B cells in adult bone marrow, and cells from patients with chronic myelocytic leukemia (CML).
It is also present on breast myoepithelial cells, bile canaliculi, fibroblasts, and is highly expressed on the brush border of kidney and gut epithelial cells.

CD10 is a neutral endopeptidase that cleaves peptides at the amino side of hydrophobic residues and inactivates peptide hormones such as glucagon, enkephalins, substance P, neurotensin, oxytocin, and bradykinin.
It is a 100 kDa type II transmembrane glycoprotein encoded by a gene with a 5′ untranslated region that is alternatively spliced into four mRNA transcripts, though the coding region remains unaffected.
Diseases associated with CD10 dysfunction include spinocerebellar ataxia 43 and Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease.
