Description:
The MU5UBEE monoclonal antibody reacts with human and non-human primate CD185 (CXCR5/BLR1), a G protein-coupled receptor expressed on B cells, CD4+ T cells, and a subset of memory T cells. It plays a key role in lymphocyte trafficking and T cell migration into B cell follicles in response to CXCL13, serving as a marker for follicular helper T cells. Cross-reactive with Rhesus macaque.

Each product includes:

• 1 vial of NovaFluor conjugate
• 1 vial of CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
Applications Tested: Pre-titrated and tested on normal human peripheral blood cells. Use 5 µL (0.125 µg) per test in 100 µL total volume (10⁵–10⁸ cells/test).

Important Notes:

• NovaFluor dyes are not compatible with DNA intercalating viability dyes (e.g., propidium iodide, 7-AAD, DAPI).
• Use Invitrogen LIVE/DEAD Fixable Dead Cell stains for best results.
• CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer (Cat. No. C001T06F01) is required for optimal staining.
  • Add 5 µL per sample before combining with cells.
  • For single-color controls, use 5 µL per 100 µL of cell sample.

CXCR5 (CD185):
Also known as Burkitt lymphoma receptor 1 (BLR1), CXCR5 is a seven-transmembrane G protein-coupled receptor for chemokine BLC. It is expressed in lymphoid tissues (follicles, spleen, lymph nodes) and plays an essential role in B cell migration. Expression has been observed in human blood, salivary gland, and multiple animal tissues. As a member of the GPCR family, CXCR5 participates in signal transduction via G-proteins and is a key research target in immunology and pharmacology.
