Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The VSNL1 gene encodes a member of the visinin/recoverin subfamily of neuronal calcium sensor proteins.
This protein is strongly expressed in granule cells of the cerebellum, where it associates with membranes in a calcium-dependent manner and modulates intracellular signaling pathways of the central nervous system by directly or indirectly regulating the activity of adenylyl cyclase.
Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been observed, but their full-length nature has not been determined.
