Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, an additional desalting step is recommended (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The CDC6 protein is homologous to Saccharomyces cerevisiae Cdc6, essential for DNA replication initiation.
It functions as a regulator during early DNA replication steps, localizing in the nucleus during G1 phase and translocating to the cytoplasm at the start of S phase.
This translocation is regulated by phosphorylation through Cdks.
Transcription of CDC6 is controlled by mitogenic signals via E2F-mediated transcriptional mechanisms.
