For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to reach a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Mitofusin 1 (MFN1) and its related protein MFN2 are mitochondrial membrane GTPase proteins that play a central role in mitochondrial metabolism. They may be associated with obesity and/or apoptosis processes.
MFN1 and MFN2 form homotypic and heterotypic complexes, coordinating mitochondrial fusion and essential for embryonic development. When ectopically expressed, MFN1 inhibits the apoptosis-associated amino-terminal conformation change in Bax but not its mitochondrial translocation, suggesting MFN1 regulates Bax activation on the outer mitochondrial membrane.
