Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
BNIP1 (BCL2/adenovirus E1B 19 kDa-interacting protein 1) belongs to the BNIP family. It interacts with the E1B 19 kDa protein, which protects against virally induced cell death, and with BCL2 sequences of similar function.
Alternative splicing results in four variants of unknown function. The BNIP1 transcript variant contains the full coding region and a conserved BH3 domain associated with pro-apoptotic activity.
