Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
SIGLEC7 is a putative adhesion molecule mediating sialic acid-dependent binding to cells, preferentially recognizing α2,3- and α2,6-linked sialic acids, as well as disialogangliosides.
It may act as an inhibitory receptor in immune responses by recruiting cytoplasmic phosphatases that block signal transduction.
SIGLEC7 mediates inhibition of natural killer (NK) cell cytotoxicity and may play a role in hematopoiesis by inhibiting differentiation of CD34+ precursors and proliferation of leukemic myeloid cells in vitro.
