Target Information
Hematopoietic cell kinase (HCK) is a SRC-related kinase expressed in lymphoid and hematopoietic cells and may play a role in some forms of leukemia.
HCK (Alias: DKFZp686D0638) is a protein-tyrosine kinase predominantly expressed in hemopoietic cell types.
It may help couple the Fc receptor to the activation of the respiratory burst and play roles in neutrophil migration and degranulation.
Alternate translation initiation site usage, including a non-AUG (CUG) codon, results in two isoforms with different subcellular localizations.
