Target Information
Glutathione S-transferase (GST) is a 26 kDa protein found in both eukaryotic and prokaryotic organisms, catalyzing various reactions.
The GST gene fusion system enables purification of GST-fusion proteins through their high affinity for glutathione.
These fusion proteins are valuable tools for studying direct protein–protein interactions and are widely used in expression vector systems.
