LKB1 활성은 STE20 관련 어댑터 STRAD alpha와 칼슘 결합 단백질 MO25 alpha로 구성된 조절 복합체 결합 시 증가합니다. STRAD와 MO25는 LKB1의 세포내 위치를 조절하여 핵에서 세포질로 이동을 유도하고, LKB1의 종양 억제 기능을 조절합니다. LKB1/STRAD/MO25 복합체는 AMP-activated protein kinase kinase (AMPKK)로 작용합니다.
