Target Information
Sorbitol dehydrogenase는 polyol과 해당 ketose 간의 상호전환을 촉매하며, aldose reductase와 함께 포도당을 sorbitol로 환원시키는 과정에 관여합니다. 이후 SORD는 NAD를 보조인자로 사용하여 sorbitol을 fructose로 산화시킵니다.
