Target Information
E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase that is part of the N-end rule pathway. Recognizes and binds to proteins with destabilizing N-terminal residues, leading to ubiquitination and degradation. Forms meshwork structures with clathrin involved in membrane morphogenesis and cytoskeletal organization. Regulates integrin-mediated signaling and may activate FAK in response to cell-matrix interactions. Mediates ubiquitination and degradation of ACLY.
