현재까지 Eph 수용체 패밀리의 최소 14개 멤버와 8개의 리간드가 확인되었습니다. Eph 패밀리 리간드는 구조적으로 유사한 막 결합 단백질로, ephrin-A와 ephrin-B 두 가지 주요 하위 그룹으로 나뉩니다.
Ephrin-A 하위 그룹(예: ephrin-A1, B61)은 glycosylphosphatidylinositol 결합을 통해 막에 부착되어 있으며, ephrin-B 하위 그룹은 transmembrane 도메인을 포함합니다.
