Target Information
Importin-4은 인간의 IPO4 유전자에 의해 암호화되는 단백질로, 핵 단백질 수입 과정에서 핵 수송 수용체로 작용합니다. NLS(nuclear localization signals)를 인식하여 수송 복합체를 핵공복합체(NPC)에 도킹시키며, Ran 의존적 에너지 기전으로 핵 내부로 이동합니다. 핵 내에서 Ran 결합 후 수송 복합체가 분리되고, Importin은 GTP 가수분해에 의해 세포질로 재수출됩니다.
